About Society:

Yugoslav Society for Antimicrobial Chemotherapy was founded 09.10.2002. in Belgrade. It is the member of  the International Society for Chemotherapy (ISC).
Main activities of the society are antimicrobial chemotherapy in all it aspects, especially way of use new and already known drugs, problems of resistance as well. The field of activity is also cooperation between medical specialists in use of new therapy protocols and resolving problems of infections therapy.
Society had organized meetings:  AMICA 6-7.11.2003., First Congress 16-18.03.2006, Meeting in Vrsac June 2007.

2nd SEEC in Belgrade, Serbia, 3 - 6 November 2011

The 2nd South East European Conference of Chemotherapy and Infection (SEEC) will be co-organized by the Yugoslav Society for Antimicrobial Chemotherapy (JUAH) and the Federation of European Societies for Chemotherapy and Infection (FESCI) in cooperation with the International Society of Chemotherapy for Infection and Cancer (ISC) and the Mediterranean Society of Chemotherapy (MSC) and supported by many scientific societies in the region.

The conference will be held in Belgrade from 3 - 6 November 2011, in Best Western Hotel M , Bulevar Oslobodjenja 56a, Belgrade. The conference will start at 19.00 on 3rd November and will end at 13.00 on 6th November, with a full scientific programme. The conference will be accredited with 12 CME points. Serbian and European acreditation will be obtained by JUAH and FESCI respectively.

Society regulation:

Members of the Society can be specialist for: infectious diseases, microbiology, pharmacology, epidemiology, internal medicine, surgery, anesthesiology, pediatric and any other health care workers who in daily work use antimicrobial agents or participated in other field of infections management.
All the member pay a annually fee at the account of the Society. This fond is use for covering expenses of web presentation, and other payments. The Society officials are not paid, and there functions are pure voluntarily.
Society members do not paid fee for meetings which are organized by Society, and are automatically members of ISC, so had a right for fee discount for the meetings which are organize by ISC (or is ISC coorganizator).
